Default Abdominals-tummy tight & drawn in

Hi, I'm just wondering what all the different abdominal terms mean, or if they all mean drawing-in, which is what I've been doing. For instance, some things say pull in your belly/ draw in, some exercise descriptions say get your tummy tight, and i might've seen squeeze your abdominals ,but i may be mistaken. thank you

I think you're on the right track here. In general, you want to keep your core tight to help prevent injury. I interpret all these varied ab instructions to mean to tighten my core as if bracing myself to take a punch.

Any other ideas?

You should prevent your core to avoid injury.

That might be a typo. "Prevent your core" makes absolutely no sense. Not from a fitness, nor a grammatical sense.

Agree. I think the guy was in abbreviation mode. Prevent your core muscles from being hit? Prevent your core muscles from staying flaccid?
